It's hard to believe, but twelve years ago today, my blue-eyed blonde haired beauty made her debut. I have so many cherished memories of rocking her to sleep and then once she was fast asleep, choosing to just sit and hold her as long as I could. Although she will still occasionally come sit by me to snuggle, she is definitely no longer a little baby. In fact, she's not even a little girl anymore. She is a beautiful young lady, and it is a joy to watch her grow and learn and become.

I was writing down the date on a paper this morning and I thought...January 10th...I know that's a special date for some reason. Then I remembered...oh yeah...it's Megan's birthday today.
It really is a special day. I remember the day she was born and my first time holding her. She really has grown up to be a beautiful person. We all love you Megan. Have a very happy birthday! We are so looking forward to summer when we get to see you again.
