Mr. Mischievous

I came downstairs and found this...

Jakey had found a bowl of bubbles and was enjoying hitting the clumps of bubbles and popping them. So cute Jakey Boy. Love ya.

BLAST FROM THE PAST

Before you read any further you must go to the bottom of the blog and change the song to the last song on the list.

Sarah was encouraging me to put a playlist back on my blog.  While I was rocking Jacob and watching Noggin, she sat at the computer asking me what songs I like.  She was also talking on the phone with one of her friends.  I overheard her say, "I need a dance song on my playlist."  I started thinking back to days when I actually went to dances and I remembered one of my favorite dance songs - Groove is in the Heart.  I don't know why, but this song just makes me giggle and wiggle around the room.   I don't even know if all the words are "appropriate", I just love to move and make a fool out of myself while listening to it.  While listening to it (and watching my reaction), Sarah looked at me as if I was nuts.   She's probably right. . .  but it sure is fun to be nuts from time to time.  Tell me you can hold still listening to this song . . . Sarah also is gracing this post with one of her fun pictures from paint.  Groove on!

Snow Day - Finally

We finally had a some snow a couple of weeks ago - a whole 4-6 inches! After sledding on the grass most of the winter, the kids had fun sledding the "real way" and playing in the snow. We had a few friends over and had a great time making orange smiles before playing in the snow. We had a snowball fight - in which all the kids ganged up on me - and built a dam for the already melting snow running down the gutters like a river to make a large pond at the top of our driveway. After everyone was sufficiently soaked and freezing, we came inside to eat cookies (previously made by Megan, Faith, and Eve) and drink hot chocolate. Yum! Sarah was at her friend's house having a great time in the snow, too. You'll have to check her blog for a humorous account of her snow day activities.
