Priorities and Sacrifice
I came home late the other night and did my routine "check on the kids" before I went to bed. I peeked in at the boys and found Jacob sawing logs without his pillow in sight, let alone under his head.

What a thoughtful Mommy!
Can you imagine the Confusion and Delay you might have caused if you had moved his trains off the pillow? You're a Really Useful Mother.
Jacob would have been cross.
I'm so glad they got to be really useful engines the next day. I shall tell Sir Topham Hat how much you helped. Jacob would indeed have been VERY cross.
I'm so relieved that everybody had a soft place to rest. I was worried sick about Thomas and Duncan, what with the dark circles that have been showing up under their eyes.
He is just too cute! I love that little boy! Thank goodness for a good night sleep.
Our trains get treated very well here too. They are treasured objects. And why not, we should treausre things that are useful. Right?
Cute cute cute! That Jacob, he is a sweetie. So glad everyone slept well.
