Our resident toad - it lives in our front flower bed and comes out to visit quite often.

A very brave robin dared to build its nest and lay its eggs in our crawling with children dogwood tree.
Aren't those eggs the most beautiful color?

How can you help but love seagulls at the beach - even if they are hovering dangerously overhead dropping scavenged food . . and other things? Chasing them make kids happier than just about anything - which makes me happier than just about anything!

Gazing at skies like this . . .

And shells with waves lapping over them? Beautiful.

I love your toad. We found a frog at the park one day and I was more excited than the kids. It was the size of a quarter. Way to find joy in the little things!
I have thought a lot about this lately Kim...seeing as I don't get "out" a lot. Okay, like ever. I have really learned to appreciate small things and small moments. I absolutely believe the Lord is almost always trying to reach us, if we just choose to see His hand. Lovely post.
I love your frog, and the fact that it's in love.
Kimberly, we are kindred spirits. I love nature and the beauties that lift me up there.
You are so right Kim. I'm teaching the kids "My Heavenly Father Loves Me" in Primary. It's my favorite Primary song of all time. I love how it teaches kids that they can know Heavenly Father loves them by just looking around. Also, it's a good lesson in gratitude. When things are tough, count your blessings.
Love you Kim!!!
What gorgeous robin eggs! I love the froggy friendship on the rock as well. :)
Hey! Did we tell you that shortly after we met your resident toad, we met OUR resident toad? I think he is your toad's TWIN... they look identical in everyway. I too am enjoying Heavenly Father's creations. I marvel each and every day that I live here in PA at the amazing beauty.
BEAUTIFUL. That is the best word for it. Serene comes to mind, too. Thanks for sharing!!!
