BLAST FROM THE PAST

Before you read any further you must go to the bottom of the blog and change the song to the last song on the list.

Sarah was encouraging me to put a playlist back on my blog.  While I was rocking Jacob and watching Noggin, she sat at the computer asking me what songs I like.  She was also talking on the phone with one of her friends.  I overheard her say, "I need a dance song on my playlist."  I started thinking back to days when I actually went to dances and I remembered one of my favorite dance songs - Groove is in the Heart.  I don't know why, but this song just makes me giggle and wiggle around the room.   I don't even know if all the words are "appropriate", I just love to move and make a fool out of myself while listening to it.  While listening to it (and watching my reaction), Sarah looked at me as if I was nuts.   She's probably right. . .  but it sure is fun to be nuts from time to time.  Tell me you can hold still listening to this song . . . Sarah also is gracing this post with one of her fun pictures from paint.  Groove on!

I love that song! I was moovin and a groovin while I read your blog. I have a whole list of dance songs on my I-pod so that I can groove when needed. When do I need to groove?.....when cleaning, when on the treadmill, when driving, when cooking, when gardening...all the time dude!

You are so funny! I am pretty sure I can imagine how you looked. Are you sure you weren’t singing at the top of your lungs too?

Oh how I LOVE this post. The visuals that it creates are fantastic! I can absolutely see you dancing like a maniac to this song. I miss the dancing days at Dickey central!
